BISP Stipend Deductions
Millions of low-income families in Pakistan receive financial assistance through the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). However, a few people have recently voiced their displeasure over not receiving their entire monthly payment. BISP has made it simpler for people to report such issues and file complaints in order to address this problem.
Who can report a Deduction?
You have the right to file a complaint if you are a BISP beneficiary and discover that your payment is less than what was agreed upon. To file a complaint, you are not obliged to pay anyone. The procedure is easy and free.
How Can I Make a Complaint?
You can report an unfair deduction from your BISP payment in one of four ways.
Dial the Helpline
Dial 0800-26477 to reach the BISP helpline. When you call, don’t forget your CNIC number. You will learn through the process from a BISP agent.
File an Online Complaint
Visit https://bisp.gov.pk, the official BISP website. After selecting the complaint section, complete the online form. You must input your CNIC and provide a brief explanation of the problem.
Go to a BISP office
Another option is to file a complaint in person at the closest BISP office. Bring your CNIC and any documentation proving the amount of money you were paid.
If the BISP Mobile App is available where you live, use it.
To make it simpler for consumers to file complaints, BISP provides a mobile app in some areas. Verify the app’s availability and report any issues you encounter while using it.
Step 1: Go to the closest BISP Tehsil office
Visit your district’s BISP Tehsil Office.
Bring your original CNIC and, if you have one, your payment slip.
Step 2: Describe the grievance
Inform the BISP employees of the deduction or problem you encountered.
If you know who stole the money, mention it along with the amount
.Step 3: Complete the Complaint Form
You will receive a formal complaint form from the officer.
Enter your name, mobile number, CNIC number, and complaint information
.Step 4: Provide Evidence
A copy of your SMS confirmation, payment receipt, or any other document you received at the time of payment should be attached
Step 5: Send in the Application
The staff will provide a tracking number or confirmation slip once the form has been submitted.
What Takes Place Following a Complaint?
BISP will examine your case after you report the issue. Strict measures will be taken if an agent or officer is found to have made unlawful deductions. The amount that was unjustly deducted from your payment may also be returned to you.
