BISP Mazdoor Card – The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has recently launched a new initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to the labor community in Sindh province. The initiative, known as the BISP Mazdoor Card program, was announced by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, president of the Pakistan People’s Party.
Eligibility Criteria for BISP Mazdoor Card:
The eligibility criteria for the BISP Mazdoor Card program include registration in three phases. In the first phase, 625,000 industrial workers registered for the card. The second phase allowed workers who were not previously registered to apply. The third phase made the Benazir Worker Card available to all workers.
BISP Launched Mazdoor Card:
The program was implemented in three phases, with Mazdoor cards being distributed to 625,000 deserving workers in Sindh after conducting a comprehensive survey. The initiative is part of the PPP’s ongoing efforts to support workers & address poverty in the country. The Sindh government introduced the BISP Mazdoor Card initiative to help the working class fight inflation. The eligibility criteria for the Mazdoor Card are as follows:
Workers whose monthly income is less than Rs. 25,000/- are eligible to apply for a Mazdoor card.
