Students ineligible for Prime Minister Laptop Scheme
- Students studying in any private sector university will not be able to benefit from this scheme.
- Students who have received a laptop between the first and third phase of the laptop scheme will also not be eligible for the fourth phase.
- Apart from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, foreign students will also not be able to benefit from this scheme.
- Students who do not submit online application to complete registration will also be considered ineligible for this scheme.
- Students who fail to submit the required documents and proof of academic performance will also not be able to get a laptop under the laptop scheme.
- Students who do not have ID card or bay form will also not be able to complete the registration to get the laptop.
Distribution criteria
The distribution criteria are defined as follows:
- As far as distribution of laptops is concerned, laptops will be distributed among male and female students in each degree program on the basis of merit, i.e. PhD, MS/MPhil, and 16 years of education.
- Shares will be determined according to the university’s enrollment and laptop quota for each degree program, including university quota, campus quota, degree program quota, department quota, and annual allocation.
